Through its collaborations with multiple renowned knowledge and expertise centers around the world, KFAS supports programs that aim to enhance the capacities of researchers, policy makers, students and teachers and to develop an innovative environment in Kuwait. Such programs come within the Foundation’s efforts towards achieving a knowledge based economy.

Kuwait Health System Review & Public Health Strategy Development

The Kuwait Public Policy Center (KPPC) and KFAS have commissioned the LSE Health research center to undertake two tasks, the first is to develop a comprehensive and methodical review of the health system in Kuwait including the outlineing of the current governance, financing, workforce, service, provision, and healthcare IT arrangements, as well associated strengths and weaknesses, and the second task is to develop a public health strategy for Kuwait, which include policy recommendations to inform the process of reforming the health system in Kuwait.
